Spawning 101
Spawning bettas is a complex process, but once learned it is easy. Patience is required, you cannot lose patience or your spawn will fail. The right treatment of the pair and fry (baby bettas) is also a must for a successful spawn. Failure can be caused by many small things that many people won't tell you, or swear it's different. This is not because they're being dishonest, it's because each betta has a unique personality and the same exact conditions will affect them differently than another. I hope to try and explain the complex art of breeding bettas, there are many steps and below I hope to explain the most important ones.
